SCOPE OF WORK:
Project consists of the following:
1. Construction of a Marquee Sign 2. Geothermal System Improvements
A. Abandon well fields 7 & 8 in place
B. Demolish 13 geothermal heat pumps noted above and return to DISD. Demolish associated geothermal pump models, piping, valves, etc. back to risers in mechanical room. Existing supply/return ductwork, diffusers, grilles, etc. will remain in place and be re-used where feasible.
C. Provide 13 new packaged DX RTUs with natural gas heat
D. Replace HP-103 in like kind

3. Plumbing
A. Replace hot water heater:
B. Replace domestic water heaters EWH-1 and EWH-2 in like kind.
C. Provide all floor drains with new trap guards
D. Replace 4 EWCs with new bi-level, filtered EWCs with bottle fillers.

4. Fire Alarm
A. Provide new Notifier fire alarm system

A pre-proposal meeting will be held at 10:00 am on Monday 04/03/2023 for all interested parties. This
meeting is not mandatory, but the information discussed will be extremely helpful in preparation of the proposal.

All Construction Services construction procurements must be physically delivered to the Construction Services office, at the Linus D. Wright Dallas ISD Administration Building 9400 North Central Expressway, Suite 800 Dallas, TX 75231. (Call 972.925.7200 for directions). Delivery to other locations will result in rejection of a CSP.

Completed CSP Package Part 1-A, 1-B and 1-C are due on Tuesday, 05/02/2023 at 2:00 PM (local time).

Completed CSP Package Part 2 is due on Wednesday, 05/03/2023 at 3:00 PM (local time).

OWNER’S PROJECT MANAGER (PM)
Samuel Gaddis will be the Owner’s Project Manager (PM) for the management of planning, design, permitting, construction, and post-construction for this CSP. All correspondence and communication during the contract finalization, construction and post-construction processes shall be directed to the Architect/Engineer firm (A/E) with copy to Samuel Gaddis. During construction, the PM shall have authority to act on behalf of Dallas ISD for Owner related direction.
