SCOPE OF WORK:
PROJECT IDENTIFICATION: The project consists of the construction of two new
offices, one large open office area and a storage room inside existing shell space, and all new
paint and flooring throughout the existing suite of offices.

PRE-BID & LOCATION:
PRE-BID CONFERENCE: For the purpose of reviewing the proposed project, schedule,
and answering questions, a pre-bid conference will be held at 2:00 pm, May 30, 2024 at the
Ciyt Hall second floor conference room, 3411 Barker Avenue, Melissa, TX 75454. This
meeting will be open to representatives of all General Contractors and major subcontractors.
BID-DATE & LOCATION:
The City of Melissa will receive bids for the Melissa City Hall Second Floor Office Finish Out
project for the City of Melissa, Texas, hereinafter called "City", and in accordance with plans,
specifications, and contract documents adopted by the City Council of the City of Melissa, Texas,
prepared by RON HOBBS ARCHITECTURE & INTERIOR DESIGN, LLP. Bids shall be
submitted in a sealed envelope clearly marked “Melissa City Hall Second Floor Offices”. Bids
will be received at the office of City Secretary of the City of Melissa, 3411 Barker Avenue, Second
Floor City Administration. Bids will be received until 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, June 11, 2024, at
which time the bids will be publicly opened and read aloud. Any bids received after closing time
may be returned unopened.
RECEIPT AND OPENING OF BIDS: Sealed bids addressed to the City Secretary will be
received at the City Hall Administration Office, 3411 Barker Avenue, Melissa, TX 75454, until
2:00 PM, June 11, 2024. Bids will be opened and publicly read aloud at 2:00 PM, June 11,
2024 in the City Hall Conference Room, 3411 Barker Avenue, Melissa, TX 75454. Bids
received after closing time will be returned unopened.
